During their NYCC20 panel yesterday, Hero Collector unveiled new lines for Star Trek: The Official Starships collection and a series of new books.
During the New York Comic Con Metaverse virtual panels, head of Hero Collector Ben Robinson and Chris Thompson, Global Brand Manager shared upcoming additions to the hugely popular Starships collection which includes some new XL models and a new line of models based on Star Trek: Picard and the upcoming Strange New Worlds. The first models being announced from the Star Trek: Picard line will be the ‘La Sirena’ and the ‘USS Zheng-He’, the vessel captained by William T Riker at the end of season 1.
If this wasn’t enough, we were also gifted by the news that Hero Collector will expanding their Illustrated Handbook and Shipyard series of books as well as having a few extra treats in store for fans of the printed word!

U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D Starship (18K Gold Plated XL Edition)
U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D Starship (18K Gold Plated XL Edition) recreates the U.S.S. Enterprise in a shiny gold colour and will stand out in you Star Trek Starships Collection. It was sculpted using references from CBS Studios’ own archives of designs, physical and CG models.
Star Trek Starships Shuttlecraft Set 7
This collection includes:
- Captain’s Yacht for the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D, which is docked beneath its saucer section
- “Spacematic”.The scout vessel of rogue trader Cyrano Jones
- Cargo Shuttle Type 9A, which made its debut in the Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Manual

Klingon Batlh Class Starship
Klingon Batlh-Class Starship is an escort vessel in service to various Great Houses of the Klingon Empire. The Federation first encountered these starships at the Battle of the Binary Stars when U.S.S. Shenzhou was attacked by representatives of 24 Klingon Great houses.
U.S.S. Enterprise (Star Trek 2009) XL Starship
This giant-size starship model captures the U.S.S. Enterprise, as seen in Star Trek’s 2009 return to the big screen! J.J. Abrams’ blockbuster hit updated everything in the Star Trek franchise – including Matt Jefferies’ classic design for the Starship Enterprise!
Section 31 Medium Starship
Section 31 Medium Starship was a smaller two-nacelled interceptor-ships that were marked as “classified” in the Federation Database. The rogue artificial intelligence Control used these vessels to attack the U.S.S. Discovery and Enterprise near the planet Xahea.
Son’a Collector Starship XL
The Son’a Metaphasic Collector – also called “The Injector” – is a massive vessel built by a narcissistic species of interstellar nomads and raiders. The Son’a collector starship would launch an injector assembly designed to cause a chain reaction in the planet’s rings, allowing the ship’s “wings” to harvest the metaphasic radiation that would emanate from them. Fortunately, Captain Jean-Luc Picard was able to beam aboard and activate the ship’s self-destruct sequence.
U.S.S. Pathfinder NCC-97600 Starship
U.S.S. Pathfinder NCC-97600 Starship is a long range science vessel that uses updated 25th-century technology. As a part of Operation Delta Rising, Starfleet began developing a new generation of science vessels. Inspired by the Intrepid-class of the late 24th century, this new class of ship would combine robust scientific equipment, impressive speed and extended mission endurance.
Jem’Hadar Vanguard Carrier
Celebrated the 25th anniversary of STAR TREK: Deep Space Nine with Star Trek Online! Jem’Hadar Vanguard Carrier was the largest of the ships in the new fleet that was introduced with DS9-themed expansion titled “Victory is Life”. The Vanguard-Class Jem’Hadar Carrier acts as a mobile assault base for the launch and repair of its accompanying fleet, with a long dorsal flight deck from which two wings of gunboats can be launched.
Star Trek Shipyards: The Delta Quadrant Vol. 2 – Ledosian to Zahl by Ian Chaddock
STAR TREK SHIPYARDS: THE DELTA QUADRANT: Ledosian to Zahl is the second of two volumes that profile the ships from STAR TREK: VOYAGER.
